  • Hey hey :) I've removed the copyright statements in {{footer}}. By contributing to FANDOM, your text comes under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license, with which your original copyright statements are incompatible.

    • Except for content outside of the site from my YouTube Channel, Flickr portfolio and copyrighted works which fall under the agreement of CC-BY-SA-NC-ND 4.0, as stated. Text, however, is under the agreement provided by FANDOM as stated in FANDOM's policy. Some copyrights, even by me, are legally protected. Just so you know, another FANDOM staff, MarkVA, agreed with me on this and he stated that I basically wanted "tighter control of your rights.", which is right because I don't want to end up with a possible situation regarding someone or an entity abusing my rights. Reason why I've added my statement in the footer so it can clearly be seen.

The reason why I've decided a long time ago to have tighter control of my rights was because of a 48 Year Old Portuguese man who thought it was a good idea to illegally download my YouTube Videos then he sold my YouTube videos on a fake website without my consent or approval. I had to set up what is now my Main Channel and ended up closing down my first YouTube Channel. Not going down that same issue again, reason why I've set up my statement to protect my  rights as is. Everything else is protected through FANDOM's Terms.

    • I've made a correction to the Footer which includes the statement that "Text published throughout this Wiki including Wikia logos, coding, elements, etc. are subject to the terms of Wikia's Terms of Use, Licensing Agreement and Privacy Policy.". However, as clearly mentioned in the policy "Terms of Use", it states that every Content submitted to this Wiki is this Wiki's sole responsibility. That is what I was referencing to - the Content submitted to this Wiki by Other Users is the responsibility of the Wiki as a whole and Content created by me is legally Copyrighted but permission has been granted for its use under the policy CC-BY-SA-NC-ND 4.0 - Non-Commercial, Non-Derivative. This is my Wiki's agreement on my own Content published here. Still falls to the Wiki policy of Text published. Just protecting my rights, same as everyone else.

    • Hi Warrenwoodhouse. I understand your desire for tighter control over copyright, but copyright is a network-level matter and individual wikis don't have the ability or right to change the license that's used.

Yes, the Terms of Use state that you are responsible for all content, but that means you're responsible for ensuring that you have the right to post content to the site and that you're not infringing on anyone else's copyright. It does not mean that you are able to change the copyright status of the wiki.

This wiki is licensed under CC-BY-SA and that can't be changed. So we've reverted your copyright statement to reflect that.

  • Hey hey :) Thanks for submitting your Wikia.js code to the JS review process. I do wanna make you aware of a couple of issues, though. First, the RSS call is for an http, rather than https, protocol. It'll be best for you to make sure that your JS always uses https. That's easy enough to change, of course, but the big thing is that it's really not working, and I wanted to give you an opportunity to reconsider the URLs you've chosen. For instance, the RSS feed is flatly not producing any results; it just shows the URL. Consider using the "enter test mode" button on the "Custom JavaScript status" module on the right rail of a JS page. It'll help you see whether or not you've found a URL that's actually working. Also, as regards the RSS module specifically, you might wanna take a look at community:help:RSS. Thanks!

    • I've made corrections. Oddly, the correct code for displaying the calendar only works in the page and not on the sidebar. If you're interested in the calendar code that I want to display in my sidebar, look for Main in the View Source available at https://warrenwoodhouse.wikia.com/wiki/Calendar?action=edit&useskin=source

I've added my Facebook Timeline and Twitter Timeline in the latest Wikia.js , I hope it works. I've tested it out, like you said. Just cleaning up my Homepage as I was considering adding the information to my sidebar.

  • Hello, it's so cool that you've taken the time to make these. However, some of your information is incorrect. Wishing Well Cottage is the name of the Dingles' Farm, not a secondary name for Holdgate Farm. Also I believe the show was filmed on and inside real properties until 1998 but I will have to check on that...

    • @Danielroxheaps I'll correct my map later tonight about Wishing Well Cottage. I researched fully before putting everything together. Emmerdale Wiki and Emmerdale map at www.emmerdale.me.uk and other websites helped. I added the links on my Map page on my personal Wiki at https://warrenwoodhouse.wikia.com/wiki/Maps:Emmerdale

The information regarding Hotten and other places in earlier Episodes is very much correct as far as my knowledge goes. I'm still watching the show and as up-to-date with it since Trisha's Tree Storm crashed on the Red Telephone Box.

I hope that I'm right considering the amount of time I've spent putting it together. I've even added the Coronation Street Special map made by The Sun Newspaper as part of their March 1996 Special Edition! - https://coronationstreet.wikia.com/wiki/File:StreetFinder.jpg , which I found while searching for accurate Coronation Street maps in 2012 and the original image is no where on Google Images, so I guess it was a good find on my part. I've yet to visit the TV Sets myself personally.

    • If you'd like I can go through and help ensure everything is correct. It's just so cool to find in order to see all the filming locations, brilliant job.

    • Please, would appreciate it. If anything is incorrect, please add it to this Thread and I'll add it to the Map at the sametime of those corrected locations. I've tried my best considering that I've only seen some of the earlier episodes and I'm more up-to-date with the current series. I'm still adding more details to the Map as it's never going to be truely finished. :D

My first proper blog, Real Filming Locations, is that I've decided at the time that I wanted a blog that showcases real locations and real facts, unlike other filming location websites which only show a handful rather than the entire list of locations including those not mentioned in the Behind The Scenes, so it takes some time to compile a full list of locations but I feel relieved and excited at the end of it.

Found almost every location from The Hunger Games series and I've found every location from Fallout video games and the locations featured in Assassin's Creed series so far. I do enjoy visiting to places and most of them I've not visited to yet so it's still early days for me.

You can also make your own maps at http://google.com/maps/d/u/0/ but you need to be logged into your Google account to be able to make a free map.

  • Hi Warren,

We had a look as to why your Polldaddy poll wasn't working, and it seems the poll does not exist - it throws a "404 Not Found" error.

Could you double check if the poll still exists on the Polldaddy platform? "514035276" may be an incorrect Polldaddy ID, or the poll may have been deleted.

    Thank you!

    • I’m afraid there’s not much I can do for you - sending a request to our support team through Special:Contact is your best bet. They’ll take the request into consideration.

    • Already did a year ago. Kirkburn said that the Maps feature can only be updated or upgraded to newer features if it benefits Wikia overall. I would gladly recommend that it'll benefit the majority of the Wikis here, mine included. Examples that would benefit this are Travel Blogs, Game Guides, Films, TV Shows. Those would benefit it because of the way Google MyMaps is. The only other way for me would be if it's like how the Maps are at lets say Nukapedia at http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_map

I could just keep trying Special Contact until it gets through. I might do that.

      Thanks for the help, Mark.

  • 3'6 means 3ft 6in. Doesn't want "ft" added.

    • Fair enough. I'll add 3ft 6in ( 3'6"ft ) and the American equivalent height as well, for those in America. Would you like to be a Content Moderator for my Wiki?

    • It's done. Profile Information has been updated in the section "About". I included a link back to this Comment in the Minor Update "Reason". You can see this change at Special:RecentChanges .
